This review is from: Dyson DC07 Brush bar for vaccum cleaner (Kitchen) Needed to replace the old brush because hair & lint bunged up one of the ends and melted it and made it hard to turn (which then also burned out the clutch). This is not an OEM part, but then it is also half the price. It looks (and fits) absolutely identical to the brush it replaced, other than color (and you have to admit, this goes with the gaudy Dyson color schemes much better than a plane black one). Quality of the product seems good. NOTE there are two versions of this brush, one for DC07/14's without a clutch, and one for with. The description does not say, but this is for the cleaners with the clutch (with the bare floor / carpet knob). The brush for cleaners without a clutch looks markedly different and don't look interchangeable. Note that this replacement is for vacuums with floor and carpet settings. This review is from: Dyson DC07 Brush bar for vaccum cleaner (Kitchen) Our Dyson DC07 is about 5 years old and the bristles on the brushes started wearing down next to nothing. As everyone has already found out, Dyson does not offer replacement brushes...I guess they want you to buy a new vacuum. This is a knock-off, but it fits perfectly and other than the color, we didn't see any difference. We've been using the vaccum over 3 weeks now with the new brush/roller, and have had no problems. Installing it didn't take long, and am happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend.
